A Passion for Coffee, Born from Curiosity
Have you ever wanted to be cool? Years ago, as a nerdy physics and mathematics student, so did I. My journey into the world of coffee started with a two-hour-a-week job at my campus coffee bar, a place I thought was reserved for the “cool kids.” Little did I know, that part-time job would light the spark for what would become my lifelong passion.
From my first lessons with professional roasters, I was hooked. After graduating (and even conducting my senior capstone on the thermodynamic processes of coffee roasting!), I dove headfirst into the coffee world. As a professional barista, roaster, and equipment specialist, I fell in love with the complexity and artistry of crafting the perfect cup of coffee.
